I suppose, Midi files (usually/may) contain Tempo Mapping information (Midi Time Code ?). When importing Midi files into a Reaper track (how) can This information used to set BPM and and sync the grid to the midi item ?
Background: I might want to import music created by "Band in a Box". Here, the generated "Real Tracks" of course are just audio files (optionally a wav file for any instrument), but Midi can be exported as well. Now importing both, there might be a way to easily set (warp) the grid in Reaper correctly without needing to fiddle with "manual" tweaking methods.
