Re-Gaining Perspective

I think we all understand that perspective is lost after a period of time mixing. How do you re-gain perspective?

Do you let your ears rest?
Do you nap?
Do you read?
Listen from the other room?
Take a walk?
Sleep?
How about referencing your favorite tracks?

Personally, I most enjoy TIME between the sessions. Sleep is best. Taking a break and coming back to reference tracks is good too. Then when I flip to my mix, the part(s) that stick out need attention.

I'm hoping to find a helpful tip here.
