Hello! I need some help improving my workflow. I'm currently rewiring Reason to work with Reaper.
I *only* use Reason for Redrum.
I only use Redrum to load drum machine samples into its individual channels; I don't use the step sequencer or anything else. I zero out each channel's controls and route them to individual tracks in Reaper.
I program my drum beats in Reaper's midi editor and have the midi track "play" Redrum.
This seems overly complicated to me. Is there a better way to do this? Is it possible to eliminate Reason altogether somehow?
