Why, oh why, didn't I take the blue pill?!
Couple of months into this recording mixing lark, and I'm just beginning to realise how deep the rabbit hole goes.... trouble is I'm now completely hooked and can't leave the Reaper alone.
Oh well. After the knots I tied myself into with the last tune I tried, time to demolish another classic - the old R&B standard Unchain my heart.
All done in the box with Reaper - guitars through a Focusrite Scarlett, all keys, drums and brass are Native Instruments. Still working on cans in my dining room since my man-cave is still months from completion. *sob*
Now Joe Cocker I ain't - can't carry a tune in sack - if you can look (hear) past the vocals, I'd really appreciate any critique at all of the recording and mix...it's dark in this rabbit hole!
