Installed K-Lite and now can't drag and drop mp4 from from explorer to reaper

Installed K-Lite and now can't drag and drop mp4 from from explorer to reaper.

Any ideas? was working before as I did the same process just fine yesterday. Only diff was I installed K-Lite codecs for something entirely different and when I try to drag I get the no sign. I can use media browser to do it inside reaper with no problem. Seems like a registry/file type issue but not sure where to begin.
