Upgrading to Sierra and 64 Bit Reaper

Quick question: I'm going to take the plunge and upgrade to MacOS Sierra. I am also going to move from 32 bit Reaper to 64 bit. Should I upgrade Sierra first or Reaper first? Does it matter?
