Big questions about this---
In Kenny's Ripple Editing video for Reaper 5 Explained (about 2 minutes before the end)... he is able to pick any of the Regions and move them to the right, without affecting the first Region (in this case, Intro). As long as Ripple Editing: ALL TRACKS are enabled. That's all well and good, but...
When I duplicate what Kenny's done (quickly with loops)...
When I move my other regions over... (such as Verse, Chorus, Intro 2, etc).... Reaper EXTENDS the first Region's right boundary, even though the loops stay in place. The Region bar (in this case, it's yellow), extends to the right, even though all the loops stay put.
I do not know why. It shouldn't touch the Intro region bar (the yellow part), following his exact steps.
I hope I've explained this well.... any thoughts?
Thank you guys! I am JUST NOW discovering the power of Ripple Editing and changing song arrangements on the fly (why have I never done this before??!)
I should also mention that these regions are right next to each other (just like in his video). When I make the region slightly shorter (so they're not right next to each other), it works fine. But when I pull back a little too close to the left... it attaches to the previous region, and it does the thing I don't want, again, haha.
Thanks!!!
