This is the oddest thing, I recently opened a project and when I have the Midi Piano Roll View Grid open and I click in it to add drums I hear a horrible crackling noise. However when I close it and play back the track it sounds fine. The drum virtual instrument is Kontakt 5, studio drummer. I have never seen anything like this from Reaper. Any suggestions?
Btw, this doesn't happen on the Bass or Organ tracks which also use Kontakt instruments, just the drums.
