Routing audio out of ch5 of my interface (Thanks Reaper - earlier post) directly back to Ch1/Ch2 of the Layla3g - levels are in bothe cases (-12dB ch5 out) and (-12dB in - front panel inputs 1/2). All works fine here.
Routing audio to a micpre then to Ch 1 / Ch2 strange things happen:
- Micpre to CH1 (front Layla 3g panel) Levels: Ch5 out (-40dB out) and CH 1/2 (-40dB in) - ????
- Micpre to CH2 (front Layla 3g panel) Levels: Ch5 out (-12dB out) and CH 1/2 (-12dB in) - fine
Did I activate a mute in Reaper for Ch 1 - and it activates this when it senses a micpre on the signal?
