I've been using Reaper for two and a half years and this is the first time I've encountered this problem. I'm currently using one of the latest software updates.
Yesterday when I opened a project, I didn't get a sound. I checked the master buss and it turned out that two Waves plugins didn't load - instead it gave me this message:

Well that was annoying. I checked other projects for the same problem, but it didn't occur, the problem is confined only to this project, and, strangely, older versions of it that exist in the same folder. Could this be something in the project settings?
I've tried "replace FX" and replaced it with the same plugin, and it worked... until I reloaded the project and the plugin didn't load again.
This isn't a problem with Waves plugins, it happens with LePou plugins as well. The project even loads Waves plugins that come in the same bundle with ones that don't load (for instance, the API550 loads fine, but the API 2500 doesn't). It's also not a problem with heavy plugins because there are heavier plugins in the project that do load.
After a bunch of times I tried reloading the project, it started giving me crash messages. I scanned google and still have absolutely no idea how to fix the problem, or why is it happening. I plead you to save me from this nightmare, Reaper priests.
EDIT: OK sorry, I should have read the guide to report bugs before posting. I've read it AFTER and checked the Event Viewer, and the problem seemed to be fixated on Poulin_LeCab. I recalled that some impulse responses (which the plugin loads) sometimes cause crashes, and that one of the few changes I made in my system the last few days was deleting a bunch of old IRs that had copies of them in my main IR folder. I tried removing LeCab from the project and reloaded it, and voila, it worked. I can't verify this for sure but I believe the problem was with the missing IR causing LeCab problems.
Now that that's out of the way, is there some way I can check what missing IR was causing LeCab to crash? I can't view the plugin in UI mode when it's crashed.
