Electronic Drum Kit with EZDrummer

Like it says guys - Anyone hooked up a kit with EZD? I'm looking at getting an Alesis DM6 kit (or similar) to trigger my EZD (1st gen) software.

Totally new to this so just wanted to know if it's relatively straight forward or are there any hassles I may encounter...
