Good Afternoon All,
First post. I cannot express how excited I am to be part of these forums and to own this DAW. I come from Sony ACID MS 10 & Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 -- and of course I have Audacity. I have only had the Sony DAW for about a year and have not used it enough to say that I am an effective amateur.
Anyhow, today I have started going through the videos:
http://ift.tt/2c6ryRo
I have 6.5 GB's of audio coming over from ACID, sound sets, loops, and the four Classic 8 Packs. For VSTs, roughly about a gig of those.
That should be more than enough to get me rolling.
Those videos will keep me busy for a long time, as I am a hands-on learner. So I'll be testing out and learning with each video. As I move forward with those, I am sure I will be grazing the forums with item specific questions. I have one already, but there seems to be quite a few reaper videos on the topic of 'beat matching'. Some are quite old. So let me what method is best in v5+ to accomplish this as I'm sure most of you have to do this on a daily basis.
Anyhow, I guess I have babbled enough. (for now) ;)
Let me know if there is a thread around with some great external links that are reaper driven. You can never have too many bookmarks!
Cheers!
