I use Reaper mainly for song editing. I rip songs from my CD collection and if need be I make them a bit louder or edit them in some other way and then I render them to whatever folder I want and I'm done.
But I'm looking for a way to speed up my workflow. Right now, after I render a file, I have to go to that folder where the newly rendered file is and load it into Reaper and check the levels to see if it's what I want. This tends to slow me down if I am doing a lot of it.
I was wondering if there is some way to make my song louder (mostly what I do in Reaper) and then render the file, but tell Reaper to render it to within the Reaper interface itself? Like I mean render it to a new track inside of Reaper so I can see immediately the results of my operation?
Can this be done?
