Since I upgraded to ver 5.26 (64 bit) ANY VST3s I install will lock up loading Reaper. Thus making past project loads unloadable. It says "Loading Complete" but then the beachball never goes away and I have to force quit. I removed all the VST3 files and can get new projects going including the ones I created in the new versions without using VST3 but am having difficulty loading ver 5.25 projects now. Not sure if it's because of the plugins in the project had VST3 ones in it or not. I just noticed the 5.26 is not available for download on the download pay and was last week. ????
Has ANYONE had any issues like this. I actually tried the 32 version too and issue happens. I had some issues with my Slate Everything Bundle with the VMR and VTM but I got that resolved. I also had to remove their VST3's as well.
My concern is if I load an old project I need to remove all the regular VST's and temporarily put them in the trash. Then the old project will come up with missing plug message, then put the VST's back in and rescan. This takes to much effort every time I need to show a client an old project to a client and shows incompetence to the client as well. When all works, I look and work is fast as I've gotten my workflow down from using Reaper for almost 5 years now.
