The thing is like "Instant Hit Record" on your Vox, so it's worth your time to get the Demo & see for yourself. Price triples after the sale, or so I'm told.
Then the JS Bass Professor mkii that's available on ReaPack - Freeware, of course - is Demo'd this week on the Reaper blog:

Same level of quality, but for Bass - and as you can see, it's Demo'd for processing snare as well. I've heard the Vocal King is good for more than just Vox as well, but I've only had it since yesterday so I have no experience with that.
Now if someone would come up with a Low Cost/Freeware plugin for Drums and The Master Channel of this level of quality, we'd all be making Top 40 records in no time :D
