Recording individual v-drums/cymbals/etc.

I'm looking for a tutorial to show how to record individual v-drums to channels instead of it all going onto the master channel. I have Addictive Drums 2.

I'd like to be able to just play the kick drum and record it to the kick drum channel, and then do the same with the snare, toms, etc.
