I've created custom label/readouts in knobman and I'm having trouble getting the numbers to match up to those in Reaper. Let me be clearer. The pan and width elements I'm using have the readout/label 'built' into them, so I can forego the tcp.pan.label and just have my readout as part of the knob stack. For the most part they line up with the tooltip in Reaper, but they're going off a bit towards the ends and close to the 'center'.
I thought having 201 render frames in knobman should make them line up nicely, but it doesn't (100-1L, center, 1-100R). So I pulled up the IO window and ctrl dragged the pan slider and I found that there are values for 0%L and 0%R. Ok, cool, I thought. I'll have a resolution of 203 to allow for these o% values, this should all line up now! No dice. It's still off.
What's going on? If I do broad sweeps it's mostly ok, and even if things aren't lining up when I do precise movements I can go back a litte bit and then continue dragging and things will sync up again, almost as if my knob stack or the default readout is 'clicking' or 'catching up' with the other.
Anyone had any luck with this? Any ideas of which resolution to set stuff to?
