I'm trying to combine two reaper themes for a better user experience.
I love Littleboy's theme ( http://ift.tt/2cNkEP0 ). It has lovely icons and is very compact.
But the timeline area is too dark for my eyes. I would like to use the color scheme from the Reaper 5 default theme instead.
Reaper 5's new theme tweaking window is kind of laborious because I have to jump between the two themes and make sure my changes are saved, and for some reason I can't seem to be able to store more than one color (bug ?)
I've unzipped both theme folders and opened up their main text file, but they contain very different keys (Littleboy's last upload was 2 years ago this might be why).
I've then tried to make a few changes to Littleboy, re-zip it under a different name and load it, but judging by the looks of it Reaper doesn't know where to find the proper colors and images.
Am I better off starting with the default theme and replacing the images with Littleboy's, for easier maintenance in the future ? I want to take the time to do this right, and share the result freely on the stash for everyone to profit of course!
