sorry for the influx of questions but just want to make sure I'm putting everything together correctly! had a question about which cables to use for this setup:
mono synth --> direct box --> Line 6 pod x3 --> MidiVerb --> RNLA compressor
it's a mono synth so i'd be using a mono 1/8 to 1/4 cable into the direct box. out of the direct box an xlr to 1/4 cable into the Line 6. The MidiVerb has rca input and output so I would use rca to 1/4 adapters for both the input and output. The line out of the MidiVerb to line in of the RNLA using mono TS cable and then finally a TRS cable from the line out of the RNLA into the line in of my audio interface.
so is this correct? I should be getting the synth in a few days and want to have all the cables i'll need to set this up right. I'm new to outboard gear when it comes to recording and I'd like to be as sure as possible before accidentally buying cables I don't need
thanks!!
