Steps to reproduce:
1. Enable snapping in MIDI editor.
2. Paint 1/8 notes worth one full bar.
3. Open Filter, and view notes only in position 1/8 - 1/8, repeating every 1/4.
4. Select all visible notes (or click "Set selection") and drag them to another note, or adjust velocity.
5. Uncheck "Show only events that pass filter" in the MIDI Filter.
The notes that were not shown during filtering are now zero length, except the first note that was located before the first visible filtered note.
Happens in OSX 10.11.6 running Reaper 5.23 and 5.24rc3.
