OK, bought a USB single controller pedal (HIDKB model) that is compatible with Windows 10 and I hope, Reaper. The Chinese written attempt at the instructional manual is as bad as it gets. It's virtually useless. All I want is to control the transport start/stop with the pedal and be able to do punch ins with it. I think this is just a very basic on/off pedal. I currently use the space bar to start and stop the transport.
There are both written instructions and a CD that is equally useless. It's a simple $20 USB pedal. Without having to make an attempt at repeating the instructions here (take my word for it, they're useless), can anyone give me some guidance as to how to install this pedal to operate the transport? BTW, I know very little about MIDI and don't use it in my studio.
