stereo to surround

Hi,

I have problem : it seems that when I sent audio from a mono audio track, but set to stereo, to a track that makes surround from stereo (through REASurround), I can't set the panning. If I use the panning on the mono track, it sends the audio to channel 1 and 2 if the panning is left to center, but if the panning is right, there is no audio going to channel 2, and thus the surround track gets no input.

I hope this makes sense.

Can anyone tell why the mono channel does not send audio to track 2 when panned to the right?
