I have been using the BCF for a while now for basic functions with Klinke's Mackie Control dll.
I have just started to use folder tracks and, on the info I picked up from various vids, I have put the parent track at 0.00db and then mixed levels on the children tracks.
I noticed when opening a project that had folder tracks, that the BCF faders on the children tracks stay where I mixed them but the parent fader on the BCF has jumped up 5 or 6 points above 0.00db while the Reaper mixer shows the same fader at 0.00db. As you might expect, the faders follow each other like they are supposed to when I try to correct them.
As I said, I have only just started to use folders so I have no past projects with folders to look at.
EDIT: It seems like it happens whenever I insert a new track regardless of the BCF. [goes away to hunt for insert tracks preferences]
EDIT 2: cant find anything, fiddling doesn't enlighten,
