Hi all, I'm considering ditching Pro Tools (after 24 years!!) because of iLoks, lousy support, elimination of solid hardware devices.... I could go on.
BUT, it looks to me like Reaper is the closest thing to the 'familiarity' I have with Pro Tools.
I'm also considering building a 'Hackintosh' with OS X 'El Capitan' to run Reaper.
I do voice over and audio mixing of radio-TV commercials, AV's, audiobooks and laybacks for video. Most all processing is done thru my outboard rack of EQ's, Compressors, De-essers and mic preamps.
Any advice or warnings you all might have if I take off down this path?
