Item Navigation: Select and move to next (or previous) item ignores item grouping

Even with item edit and selection grouping enabled ("enable grouping", and "selecting one item selects group" both checked), using these actions to navigate to an item that is grouped does not select all items in the group. This is counterintuitive, and should function the same as marquee selecting an item in an item group. The resulting behavior here prevents editing grouped items on a track as a single item using other actions in conjunction with the item selection actions in custom actions (e.g. instead of all items in a group being moved together, only the first item selected in the group will be moved, etc.). Please fix. Thanks!
