Help with pitch correction!!

Let me start by saying that in no way I am a audio guy, I know my way around video editing apps such as Final Cut Pro 7 and X, Resolve and a little about Media Composer.

If anyone can help with my issue it will be greatly appreciated.

I have a 23.98 ProRes file, I need to convert it to 25p without video field blending/interlacing. I have tried FCP 7 and X without good results. Choppy video in FCP7 and field blending in FCPX.

I was able to get a good video conversion with Cinema tools, no choppy video nor field blending, but
the audio was sped up, not crazy but I can hear the pitch was changed, I knew this will happen because converting to 25 from 23 is a speed up in frame rate. So here's what I did.

I extracted the audio from the 23.98 file and brought into "Reaper", After bringing the audio into the sequence I right clicked the tracks to get into "item properties" changed the "Playback rate" to 1.042709376 and made sure to select the box "preserve pitch when changing rate".
By doing this I was able to match the total running time of my now 25p video track.

I exported the audio with the speed change, When I marry the new 25p video and the new 25p audio from"Reaper" they're out of sync!!

My next move was to convert the the 23.98 file to 25p via "Cinema Tools" extract the audio from the newly created 25p file as wav files bring them into "Reaper" and change the "Pitch adjustment [semitones]) but I can not figure out what the setting number would be to change the pitch.

Can anyone help?

Summary:

How do I correct pitch on audio tracks that were converted to 25p from 23.98?

Does anyone know the number that goes in the "Pitch adjust [semitones]) under "item properties"}?

or does it need to be conformed to the new 25p video file?

Thank you
